The modem we mail to you has Wi-Fi already in it so you will NOT need a router unless you want to have more than one Ethernet port to hard wire your TV’s or computer’s. Then you can use one of your own such as a netgear or linksys or we can sell you one for $100.00-$200.00 depending on type of router. If you purchase and use one of our routers it is managed via our network which provides the ability for our Technicians to trouble-shoot over the phone.
It can not be a pre-provisioned modem from Windstream or CenturyLink.
